Pepperdine Canvas: Add Web Content Links

What Does It Do?
Pepperdine Canvas offers several ways for professors to add web links to their class sites:
- The Redirect Tool feature allows instructors to integrate external websites or tools directly into their course navigation.
- The Add External URL feature in Modules allows instructors to add a web link to their sequenced learning.
- The Links: External Link feature in the rich content editor enables instructors to add web links to pages, assignment instructions, and other content.
How You Can Use It
- Link to University websites or services, like Pepperdine Libraries, student success services, or the school's academic calendar.
- Link to external websites or services, like textbook publisher sites or external reading materials (e.g., online articles, open educational resources, digital textbooks).
- Add frequently used tools such as Google Drive, Panopto recordings, or external resources.
- Integrate department-specific sites or professional tools relevant to the course subject.
- Guide students to surveys, sign-up sheets, or other third-party tools.
