In August 2019, Zoom Meetings was adopted as the preferred online conference tool for learning at Pepperdine University. All current students, faculty, and staff who sign up through Pepperdine's Zoom single sign-on (SSO) portal can enjoy this powerful web conferencing platform.

Yes. If you are a current Pepperdine University student, faculty, or staff member, you are eligible for a Pepperdine Zoom account. You must claim your account by signing in through Pepperdine Zoom.

Zoom recommends the following computer requirements or mobile device requirements. For the best experience, we recommend:
- Connecting to your meeting from a device with a stable internet connection.
- Use a headset or earbuds to avoid feedback or echo during meetings; mute your mic or phone when not speaking.
- Purchasing either an external webcam with a mic or an external microphone if your device doesn't have a working microphone. You can also dial into a Zoom meeting with a phone as well.
- Keep your Zoom software up-to-date.
The fully online programs using 2U Digital Campus (formerly 2PEP) leverage a separate Zoom instance. You will need to contact 2U Support for assistance with the 2U Zoom service.
